Bass Around Asia Performance History
Bass Around Asia was founded from a shared passion for the double bass, showcasing the instrument’s expressive depth through cross-cultural performances. Recognized internationally even during the pandemic, the ensemble returned to Taiwan in 2024 to collaborate with Artem Chirkov of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra. Beyond concerts, it nurtures young Asian bassists through masterclasses, lectures, and recitals, and in 2025 launched the Bass Around Asia Youth Ensemble to foster the next generation of double bass talent.
